The StarTech.com Cat5e RJ45 Ethernet patch cable (0.5 m, green) provides reliable Fast Ethernet connections with PoE support for short-distance network runs. It is designed for in-rack and across-rack connections in server closets, patch panels and with Ethernet hubs, offering 10/100Base-T(X) performance using 24 AWG copper conductors and U/UTP construction.

Advantages

This Cat5e cable features snagless RJ45 connectors and moulded boots to protect connector clips and provide strain relief, reducing the risk of damage and maintaining network performance. Gold-plated (50-micron) contacts ensure good conductivity and resistance to corrosion. Constructed with 100% copper conductors and manufactured to control Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT), the cable supports Power-over-Ethernet and standard 100 Mbit/s Fast Ethernet applications.
