The StarTech.com Cat5e RJ45 5m Red Ethernet cable provides reliable Fast Ethernet connections with support for Power over Ethernet (PoE). This 5-meter, red Cat5e patch cable is suitable for longer runs such as between a hub and a wall jack or routed through conduits and raceways. It is constructed with 24 AWG copper conductors, U/UTP cabling and gold-plated RJ45 contacts to maintain signal integrity and reduce corrosion. The cable model is 45PAT5MRD and it is covered by StarTech.com’s lifetime warranty.

Advantages

Snagless RJ45 connectors and moulded boots protect the RJ45 clip and provide strain relief at the connector termination, reducing the risk of damage during installation. The cable uses 100% copper conductors and 50-micron gold-plated contacts to ensure good conductivity and limit Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT). With 24 AWG wire, the cable supports Power-over-Ethernet and typical Fast Ethernet applications including 1080p and 4K video streaming at supported network rates.
