The StarTech.com Cat5e Ethernet Patch Cable (45PAT5MYL) is a 5 m yellow network cable designed for Fast Ethernet connections with support for Power over Ethernet (PoE). It uses 24 AWG 100% copper conductors, U/UTP cabling and snagless RJ45 connectors with moulded boots, and is suitable for office, data centre or conduit installations where a reliable 10/100 Mbps link is required.

This Cat5e cable features snagless RJ45 clips and moulded strain-relief boots to protect connector terminations during installation. Gold-plated 50-micron contacts reduce signal loss from oxidation and corrosion, while 24 AWG copper conductors and careful construction keep Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT) within acceptable limits.
