The StarTech.com 5G7AINDRM-USB-A-HUB is a managed 7-port industrial USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5 Gbps) hub with a Type-B host interface and Type-A downstream ports. Designed for industrial and commercial environments, it features a rugged metal enclosure, multiple mounting options including built-in brackets and a DIN rail bracket, and versatile power inputs for reliable operation in factories, warehouses and offices.

Advantages

This managed USB hub allows administrators to enable or disable individual ports, reboot the hub, set access passwords and save port states using the USB Hub Administrator Software. The hub supports SuperSpeed USB 3.2 Gen 1 data rates while remaining backward compatible with older USB devices. Its heavy-duty metal housing and ESD protection (15kV air, 8kV contact Level-4) increase durability in industrial settings. Dual DC inputs (terminal block and barrel connector) accept +7 to 24 VDC and support redundant powering; when an external power source is connected, six downstream ports can provide USB battery charging specification 1.2 up to 1.5 A (7.5 W) each.
