5 m CAT6a Patch Cable | Shielded (STP) | Snagless | 100% Copper Wire | Blue. This StarTech 5m CAT6a Ethernet cable supports 10 Gigabit (10GBase-T) connections and is tested to 500 MHz. It uses 100% copper conductors with foil-shielded twisted-pair (S/UTP) construction to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain reliable high-speed network performance in environments with potential EMI/RFI.

Advantages

The cable is built to meet Category 6a standards (ANSI/TIA 568 C.2) and avoids copper-clad aluminum (CCA) to ensure proper power delivery and heat management. Shielding and 50-micron gold-plated RJ45 contacts improve signal integrity and resist corrosion. Snagless connectors and moulded boots provide strain relief and protect the RJ45 clips during installation, reducing the risk of connector damage and signal loss.
