StarTech.com 5 m CAT6a patch cable in grey provides shielded Ethernet connectivity for reliable 10GBase-T networks. Constructed with 100% copper, foil-shielded twisted-pair wiring and 50-micron gold-plated RJ45 contacts, this cable is designed to meet Category 6a (ANSI/TIA 568 C.2) specifications and minimise signal loss and interference in demanding environments.

Advantages

The cable is tested to 500 MHz and supports 10 Gbps data rates over 10GBase-T connections. Its foil shielding and S/UTP construction reduce EMI/RFI while 100% copper conductors ensure proper power delivery and thermal stability compared with CCA variants. Gold-plated connectors resist oxidation for consistent conductivity, and molded boots plus snagless RJ45 connectors protect the plugs during installation and provide strain relief.
