It supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet, Fiber Channel and higher-speed links, and is suitable for backbone connections between switches, servers and other networking equipment. The cable features an aramid fiber sheath for strength and a laser-optimized 850 nm multimode core housed in an aqua LSZH (Low-Smoke, Zero-Halogen) jacket to limit smoke and toxic gases in the event of a fire.
