It supports dual DisplayPort and/or HDMI monitors, provides 60W Power Delivery via a single cable, includes a 1 m universal host cable with an attached USB-A adapter, and offers multiple USB ports, Gigabit Ethernet, and an audio headset jack. The dock is USB-IF, VESA DisplayPort and DisplayLink certified for compatibility and reliability, and is compatible with Mac, Windows® and Chrome OS™.

How to use

Connect the included 1 m host cable to your laptop using the USB-C connector or the attached USB-A adapter for older systems. Plug the dock’s power adapter into the dock to enable 60W Power Delivery to the laptop. Attach monitors to the DisplayPort and/or HDMI outputs according to your desired configuration. Connect peripherals to the USB-C or USB-A ports, plug an Ethernet cable into the GbE port if required, and connect a headset to the 3.5 mm jack. Optionally mount the dock using compatible StarTech.com mounting brackets (sold separately).

Usage recommendations

For best video performance use high-quality DisplayPort or HDMI cables and ensure your monitors support the selected resolutions. To achieve single 5K output, use a monitor that supports 5K over two DisplayPort inputs. Keep the dock’s firmware and the StarTech.com Connectivity Tools application updated for optimal device management, performance utilities, and network features.
