The StarTech.com USB C Hub (model HB31C2A1CGB) expands a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 laptop’s connectivity by adding a Gigabit Ethernet port, one USB-C port and two USB-A ports. This compact, bus-powered hub supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) data transfer speeds and is compatible with Mac, Windows and Linux systems. The hub includes a built-in 25 cm (9.8 in) USB-C cable and is constructed in a durable grey/black finish.

How to use

Plug the hub’s integrated USB-C cable into your laptop’s USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port. Connect an Ethernet cable to the RJ45 port for wired network access and attach USB-C or USB-A devices to the available ports. The hub is bus-powered and will draw power directly from the host—no external power supply is needed. If using multiple bus-powered peripherals, ensure the host can provide sufficient power (the hub can draw up to 15 W from the host).
