StarTech.com CAT6 Ethernet Cable (N6LPATCH5MBL) is a 5 m LSZH, snagless network patch cable designed for reliable multi-Gigabit connectivity and Power over Ethernet. The cable uses 100% bare copper conductors with gold-plated RJ45 connectors, supports data rates up to 10 Gbps (10GBase-T) over distances up to 55 m, and is ETL verified and Fluke® tested. Its PVC-free Low Smoke Zero Halogen jacket reduces toxic fumes and smoke in the event of a fire, improving visibility during evacuation. The cable is blue, 24 AWG stranded, U/UTP construction and supports up to 100 W PoE in compliance with IEEE 802.3bt Type 4.

Advantages

The cable provides error-free multi-Gigabit performance (1Gbps, 2.5Gbps, 5Gbps and 10Gbps) and 650 MHz bandwidth support for increased data throughput. Constructed from 100% copper wire, it is suitable for sustained PoE delivery and offers better heat dissipation compared with CCA alternatives. High-quality components include 50-micron gold-plated connectors, a snagless boot to protect the RJ45 clip, and molded strain relief with a 40 mm bend radius for durability and flexibility.
