The StarTech.com 1.5m Red Slim CAT6 Ethernet Cable is a slim-profile Cat6 patch cord designed for high-density network installations. It supports Gigabit Ethernet (1000 Mbps) and Power over Ethernet up to 100 W (IEEE 802.3bt Type 4), and is constructed with 28AWG pure bare copper wire, 50-micron gold-plated RJ45 contacts and a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket for safer, low-smoke installations.

Advantages

This slim Cat6 cable is 36% thinner than standard Cat6 cables, improving airflow and heat dissipation in confined racks and panels while providing greater flexibility for routing. Snagless connectors protect the RJ45 clips during installation, reducing the risk of damage when pulling the cable through tight spaces. The cable is Fluke tested and meets ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 Cat6 performance requirements, with low Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT) and Return Loss (RL).
