StarTech.com 7m Gray Slim CAT6 Ethernet Cable is a slim, snagless Cat6 patch cord designed for high-density network installations. The cable meets Category 6 specifications to provide reliable Gigabit performance and supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) up to 100W (IEEE 802.3bt Type 4). With a 3.6 mm diameter, LSZH jacket and 28AWG pure bare copper conductors, it combines compact routing, safety in enclosed spaces and consistent signal quality.

Advantages

The slim profile is 36% thinner than standard Cat6 cables, improving airflow and making cable routing easier in crowded racks and between devices. Snagless RJ45 connectors protect the clips during installation to reduce breakage. Durable construction includes 50-micron gold-plated contacts for a precise fit, 28AWG pure bare copper wire for low resistance and a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket that emits minimal toxic fumes in case of fire. The cable is Fluke tested and compliant with ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 to ensure Cat6 performance, with low near-end crosstalk (NEXT) and return loss (RL).
