Slim CAT6 Ethernet Cable StarTech.com, 7 m — a slim patch cable designed for high-density Gigabit network installations. This U/UTP Cat6 cable uses 28AWG pure bare copper conductors, 50-micron gold-plated RJ45 contacts and a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket. It is Fluke-tested to meet Cat6 performance standards and supports up to 100W PoE (IEEE 802.3bt Type 4) for powering remote devices.

Advantages

The slim 3.6 mm diameter construction is 36% thinner than standard Cat6 cables, providing improved flexibility for routing and better airflow and heat dissipation in crowded racks and patch panels. Snagless RJ45 connectors protect the clip during installation to reduce breakage, while gold-plated contacts and 28AWG pure copper conductors ensure reliable signal transmission and low resistance. The LSZH jacket reduces smoke and toxic fume emissions in the event of fire, making the cable suitable for enclosed or poorly ventilated spaces.
