The StarTech.com NLBL-1M-CAT8-PATCH is a 1 m blue Shielded LSZH Cat8 Ethernet patch cable with snagless RJ45 connectors, designed to connect reliably to 25G/40G networks. It supports data transfer rates up to 40Gbps and a maximum frequency of 2000 MHz, and is constructed with 26AWG pure bare copper conductors and S/FTP shielding for improved conductivity and reduced electromagnetic interference.

Advantages

This Cat8 cable offers four-times higher throughput than Cat6a thanks to its 2000 MHz rating and supports up to 40Gbps. The 4-pair S/FTP design combines aluminum-mylar foil and a tinned-copper braid around each pair to minimize EMI. Snagless 50-micro gold-plated RJ45 connectors provide a secure fit and are rated for more than 750 mating cycles. The LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket reduces smoke and toxic gas emission in case of fire and is flexible enough to withstand ±90° bends, allowing neat routing in confined spaces.
