StarTech.com CAT8 Ethernet Cable 3m Snagless RJ45 25G 40G 2000MHz is a 3 m shielded network patch cord designed for 25G/40GBASE-T environments. The snagless RJ45 connectors and S/FTP (4-pair shielded and foiled twisted pair) construction with 26AWG pure bare copper conductors provide improved conductivity, low resistance and sustained signal integrity up to a 2000 MHz maximum frequency. The cable uses a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket in white and is Fluke channel tested for Cat8 performance.

Advantages

The cable supports high data rates (25G/40G) and higher throughput than Cat6a thanks to its 2000 MHz frequency rating. Shielded S/FTP construction with aluminum-mylar foil and tinned copper braid around each pair reduces electromagnetic interference, while pure bare copper conductors deliver consistent electrical properties and minimal signal loss. Snagless, 50-micro gold-plated RJ45 connectors are rated for extended mating cycles and the LSZH jacket offers flame-retardant, low-smoke behavior for installations where reduced toxic emissions are required.
