The Network repeater StarTech.com 1-Port Gigabit PoE+ Extender (POEEXT1GAT) increases the reach of Power over Ethernet (PoE) connections by adding an extra 100 m (330 ft) to the standard 100 m cabling limit, allowing a PoE+ device to be placed up to 200 m away from the power sourcing equipment. The compact, wall-mountable unit supports Gigabit data rates and is compatible with IEEE 802.3at/af PoE standards, delivering up to 24 W to connected powered devices while drawing low power itself.
