The StarTech.com POEINJ30W is an industrial-grade Gigabit Power over Ethernet (PoE+) injector that delivers up to 30 watts of power and Gigabit data over a single Ethernet cable. Housed in an IP-30 rated aluminum enclosure and compatible with DIN-rail mounting, it accepts 48–56 V DC input and is designed for reliable operation in harsh environments.

How to use

Install the injector on a DIN rail or suitable surface and connect the data source to the Ethernet data input. Connect the powered device to the Ethernet output to receive both power and data over a Cat5e or higher cable up to standard Ethernet distances (typically 100 m). Provide DC power via the terminal block or use a compatible external DC supply with the coaxial barrel plug adapter (external power supply not included). Usage recommendations

Place the injector in a ventilated location and route Cat5e (or better) cabling away from high-voltage lines and strong electromagnetic sources.
