The Freestanding Rack StarTech RK2536BKF is a 25U lockable 19" cabinet designed to securely store servers, networking and telecommunications equipment. It supports EIA-310 compatible rackmount devices from vendors such as Dell, HP and IBM and provides a rated load capacity of 800 kg (1763.7 lbs). Advantages

How to use

Unpack the flat-packed cabinet and assemble according to the supplied instructions. Install and adjust the mounting rails to the required depth for your rackmount equipment (up to 813 mm). Mount servers, switches and other 19" devices to the rails using the appropriate cage nuts and mounting hardware. Route power and network cabling through the brushed ports in the top or bottom panels, or remove the panels for alternate cable paths. Use the grounding lugs to bond the cabinet to your facility ground. Lock the front and side panels when physical security is required, and use the casters to position the cabinet in place; remove or lock casters as needed for a stable installation.

Usage recommendations

The cabinet provides passive airflow via the vented front glass and mesh rear door; for higher heat loads, consider adding rack-mounted fans or an active cooling solution and ensure adequate clearance for front-to-rear airflow.
