StarTech.com 25m LC to LC OS2 Single Mode Duplex Fiber Optic Cable (SMDOS2LCLC25M) is a 25-meter, 9/125µm OS2 patch cable designed for high-speed 100G CWDM-capable links in data center and enterprise networks. The cable uses LC to LC duplex connectors with UPC polish and a bend-insensitive single-mode core, providing low attenuation and compatibility with OS1 and OS2 installations. Each cable is individually tested for insertion loss and shipped with a test report.

Advantages

The OS2 fiber cable supports an extended CWDM wavelength range of 1260–1625 nm and is optimized for laser sources in that band. Precision ceramic ferrules ensure accurate alignment and an insertion loss below 0.3 dB, while UPC polishing improves return loss compared with older PC polishing. The bend-insensitive core and low-loss construction meet ITU-T G.652.D/G.657.A1 and IEC60703-2-50 type B1.3/B6.a1 performance criteria.
