StarTech.com 7m LC to SC OS2 Single Mode Duplex Fiber Optic Cable (9/125µm) is designed for 100G network applications over OS2 fiber. The 7-meter duplex patch cable supports CWDM across an extended wavelength range (1260–1625 nm) and is compatible with laser-optimized sources. Its OS2 construction and bend-insensitive core provide low attenuation and stable signal transmission for connections between servers, switches, and data center equipment. Each cable is individually tested for insertion loss and supplied with a test report.

Advantages

The cable uses precision ceramic ferrules and UPC-polished LC and SC endfaces to ensure accurate fiber alignment and a typical insertion loss below 0.3 dB. Its bend-insensitive core and low-refractive-index trench reduce microbending losses and improve long-distance performance. The LSZH (Low-Smoke Zero-Halogen) flame-retardant jacket minimizes smoke and toxic fume emission in case of fire, making the cable suitable for installations with strict safety or ventilation requirements.
