The StarTech.com LC to SC OS2 1m single mode simplex fiber optic cable (9/125µm) provides a 1 metre link for high-speed 40G/100G networks. Designed for CWDM applications over OS2 fiber, the cable supports wavelengths across 1260–1625 nm and is backward compatible with OS1 networks. The yellow LSZH-jacketed jumper is suitable for connecting simplex patch panels, SFP transceivers, and fiber NICs, and each unit ships with an insertion loss test report.

Advantages

Precision ceramic ferrules and UPC-polished LC and SC endfaces deliver low insertion loss (below 0.3 dB) and improved return loss compared with older polishing types. The bend-insensitive fiber construction and low-refractive-index layer reduce light leakage and maintain signal integrity in constrained routing paths. The cable meets or exceeds ITU-T G.652.D/G.657.A1 and IEC 60703-2-50 type B1.3/B6.a1 standards for low attenuation and consistent performance.
