The StarTech.com UNIVC4D-LAPTOP-LOCK is a universal security cable designed to deter theft of laptops, docking stations, and other peripherals. The lock head is compatible with Noble Wedge®, K-Slot (T-Bar), and Nano security slots and includes an on-the-fly interchangeable tip so the same cable can be adapted quickly to different slot types. The cut-resistant carbon steel cable is 2 m (6.6 ft) long and 4.4 mm thick, and the keyless combination mechanism supports up to 10,000 codes for secured, portable protection.

Advantages

This model offers multi-slot compatibility with supplied spacers for a better fit on varied devices, a 3‑in‑1 interchangeable lock tip, and a full‑motion lock head with a 14 mm diameter that rotates 360° and pivots 90° to reduce cable coiling and slot strain. The cable is cut‑resistant and the combination lock eliminates the need for keys. Pull-force ratings provide an indication of resistance to removal: 91.6 kg (202 lb) for K-Slot, 74.6 kg (164.4 lb) for Nano, and 50 kg (110.2 lb) for Noble Wedge®, although actual performance may vary with nonstandard security slots.
