The StarTech.com USB 3.0 Docking Station (USB3DOCKHDPC) is a TAA-compliant docking solution for Mac and Windows laptops that adds dual-monitor support, four USB 3.0 Type-A ports, a dedicated USB fast-charge port, audio in/out, and a Gigabit Ethernet (RJ45) port with Wake-on-LAN. It supports a DisplayPort plus HDMI configuration and can drive a single DisplayPort at up to 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160).

Advantages

This docking station integrates a USB 3.0 hub and a GbE port in a compact, wired design, allowing fast data transfers up to 5 Gbit/s and reliable wired network access at 10/100/1000 Mbps. An always-on USB fast-charge port supports the USB Battery Charging Specification 1.2 so mobile devices can be charged without a laptop connection. The unit is broadly compatible with USB 3.0-equipped Mac and Windows laptops and includes a 2 ft (approx. 0.6 m) USB 3.0 cable for quick setup.
