Network Cable STEINMARK Datortīklu kabelis DK-2XO-U5E CAT5E UTP 305m
The STEINMARK Datortīklu kabelis DK-2XO-U5E CAT5E UTP 305m is a unshielded twisted-pair network cable intended for structured Ethernet installations. Supplied on a 305-meter reel, this CAT5E cable supports common 100BASE-TX and 1000BASE-T network layers where CAT5E performance is sufficient. The cable is designed for indoor and outdoor deployment where an unshielded UTP conductor with standard CAT5E electrical characteristics is required.
This CAT5E UTP cable offers a standardized twisted-pair construction that provides consistent impedance and reduced crosstalk for reliable data transmission across typical Ethernet distances. The 305 m reel format simplifies bulk installation and reduces the need for frequent joins. As an unshielded cable, it is flexible for routing through conduits, ceilings and cable trays while maintaining compatibility with common RJ45 termination and patching components.
Measure the required run and cut the cable from the 305 m reel using appropriate cable cutters. Strip the outer sheath carefully to expose the four twisted pairs and follow the T568A or T568B wiring standard when terminating with RJ45 plugs or connecting to patch panels. Maintain proper pair integrity and avoid excessive untwisting. When running outdoors, route the cable through protective conduit or ducting and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and standing water unless additional protective measures are applied.
For reliable performance, keep cable runs within recommended Ethernet distance limits, use proper grounding and adhere to local installation codes. Test each terminated link with a network cable tester to verify continuity, pair configuration and performance parameters before placing the connection into service.
