SUNGROW SG33CX is a three-phase grid-tied inverter with 33 kW nominal AC power and three independent MPPT inputs. It is designed for commercial and large residential photovoltaic installations and manages DC-to-AC conversion, grid connection and advanced grid support functions. The inverter supports wide MPP voltage ranges and high input voltages, includes protection features and communication options for monitoring.

How to use

Install the SUNGROW SG33CX according to local electrical codes and the manufacturer’s installation manual. Connect PV strings to the MC4 DC inputs (observe polarity and maximum current limits), make AC connections to the appropriate OT/DT terminals and configure communication (RS485 or optional Wi‑Fi/Ethernet) for monitoring. Usage recommendations

For optimal performance, locate the inverter in a well-ventilated area protected from direct water ingress despite its IP66 rating, avoid excessive ambient temperatures above 45 °C to prevent derating, and design PV strings to keep MPP voltage within the 550–850 V nominal range where possible. Use monitoring tools via Bluetooth app or RS485/Ethernet to track production and set grid support parameters according to local grid codes.
