SWISSTEN Swissten Edge GaN Travel Charger USB-C PD 45W + USB-A 18W QC, GaN
The Swissten Edge GaN Travel Charger is a compact dual-port wall charger designed for fast charging at home, in the office, or while travelling. It combines a USB-C Power Delivery port with up to 45W output and a USB-A Quick Charge port up to 18W, enabling simultaneous charging of a laptop or smartphone and an accessory such as earbuds. Gallium nitride (GaN) components provide higher efficiency and reduced heat in a smaller housing.
GaN technology allows a high power output from a compact body, reducing size and heat compared with conventional chargers. The USB-C PD port supplies up to 45W, suitable for charging many laptops, tablets and modern smartphones, while the USB-A QC port offers fast charging for additional devices. With two ports you can charge two devices at once without carrying multiple chargers.
The USB-C port delivers a maximum of 45W, which may be insufficient for larger or high-power laptops that require higher wattage for full-speed charging. If you need to charge multiple high-power devices simultaneously, total shared output will be reduced (combined USB-C + USB-A limited to specified common output), so charging times may be longer.
Plug the charger into a compatible mains socket and connect devices using the appropriate USB-C or USB-A cable. The USB-C PD port will negotiate the optimal voltage and current with compatible devices up to 45W. Use the USB-A port for accessories that support Quick Charge. Avoid using damaged cables and ensure the connected device supports the required charging protocol for optimal performance.
For best results, use high-quality, certified USB-C cables for Power Delivery and support charging on a flat, ventilated surface to avoid overheating. When charging a laptop and a secondary device at the same time, expect reduced charging speeds compared with single-device use.
