Synergy21 S216020 Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP) Yellow 1 m RJ-45–RJ-45 is a 1 metre patch cable designed for Gigabit Ethernet and structured cabling in home and office networks. The cable features individually foil‑shielded twisted pairs plus an overall braided screen, providing enhanced protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Fitted with RJ‑45 connectors on both ends and terminated to Cat6 performance, it is intended for short horizontal runs, switch‑to‑device connections and standard patching tasks.
The S/FTP (S‑STP) construction combines pair‑level foil shielding with an overall braided shield to deliver improved signal integrity in environments with moderate to high interference. Cat6 specification supports Gigabit speeds and a higher bandwidth margin compared with lower categories. The 1 m length and flexible jacket simplify cable management in patch panels, network switches and workstations while the standard RJ‑45 terminations ensure compatibility with common network equipment.
Plug the RJ‑45 connector into the Ethernet port of your switch, router or network device, and insert the other end into the corresponding port on the receiving device. Ensure connectors are fully seated and routed to avoid sharp bends; maintain the intended 1 m routing for optimal signal performance. For installations using patch panels, route the cable through the panel ports and secure excess length to avoid stress on the connectors.
Use this Cat6 S/FTP cable in areas with potential electromagnetic interference or where improved pair‑level shielding is needed. Avoid running the cable parallel and close to mains power lines; keep bend radius above manufacturer's recommended minimum and avoid excessive pulling force when connecting or routing.
