Patchcord CAT5e UTP RJ45 0.5m black — TB Print
TB Print Patchcord CAT5e UTP RJ45 0.5m black is a short Ethernet patch cable designed for connections where Cat5e performance is sufficient. The cable uses unshielded twisted pair (UTP) conductors and standard RJ45 connectors to support 1000BASE-T and 100BASE-TX links in local networks. Its 0.5 m length and flexible jacket make it suitable for tidy desk-level connections, short patch panel runs and close-proximity switch-to-device cabling in small office and home environments.
The patchcord provides reliable data transmission for copper Ethernet links up to Cat5e specification. Its compact 0.5 m length reduces cable clutter and helps maintain organised racks and desktops. The UTP design and compatible RJ45 connectors make it easy to use with standard network equipment such as switches, routers, PCs and patch panels. A black outer jacket offers a neutral appearance for visible cabling runs.
This CAT5e UTP patchcord is not intended for use where higher category cabling is required, such as Cat6 or Cat6a for increased bandwidth, future-proofing or enhanced alien crosstalk performance. It is also not suitable for long-distance runs beyond typical patch lengths; for extended horizontal or backbone cabling choose appropriate in-wall or bulk cable rated for longer distances and installation environments.
Insert each RJ45 connector into the network ports of the devices to be connected, ensuring the clips click into place. Use this 0.5 m patchcord for short connections where endpoints are within close proximity—between a switch and a patch panel port, a switch and a workstation, or similar setups. Avoid excessive bending near the connectors and keep the cable free from sharp edges or heavy objects that could compress the jacket or damage the internal pairs.
For best results use this patchcord for short, visible connections where neat cabling is required. If you anticipate upgrading network speed or running cables farther than a few metres, consider higher-category or longer-length alternatives.
