Networking cable Techly ITP9-FLU-0100 U/UTP Cat6 100 m Grey
The Techly ITP9-FLU-0100 U/UTP Cat6 100 m Grey networking cable is a 100-metre Ethernet cable designed to meet Cat6 performance requirements. Constructed as U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair with an overall foil), it reduces electromagnetic interference for more stable and consistent data transmission. The grey jacket offers a neutral appearance suitable for home, office or server-room installations where a long run of cable is required without connectors attached.
This Cat6 cable supports higher bandwidths and improved crosstalk performance compared with lower-category cables, helping to maintain reliable Gigabit Ethernet connections. The U/UTP construction provides an overall foil shield that mitigates external interference while keeping individual pairs unshielded for flexibility and easier termination. At 100 m length, the reel is suitable for long cable runs and structured cabling, and the neutral grey colour integrates discreetly into most environments.
Measure and plan the cable route, allowing extra length for routing through conduits and around obstacles. Cut the required length from the reel and strip the outer jacket carefully to expose the twisted pairs without damaging the conductors. Terminate the cable with appropriate Cat6-rated RJ45 connectors or punch down to keystone jacks/patch panels following T568A or T568B wiring standards. Test each terminated run with a cable tester to verify continuity, pair integrity and performance up to Cat6 specifications.
For best results, avoid running this cable in parallel with mains power lines for long distances and maintain proper bend radius to preserve performance. Use quality Cat6-rated connectors and patch panels during termination and verify links with a certified tester if deploying in mission-critical environments.
