Network patch cable TECHLY Cat5e UTP 3 m, RJ-45–RJ-45, grey
TECHLY Cat5e UTP network patch cable, 3 m long in grey, is a Category 5e unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP) patch lead with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and gold-plated contacts. It is designed to connect switches, routers, PCs, wall sockets and patch panels in home or office networks, supporting 10/100/1000Base-T(X) signalling for Gigabit Ethernet links where Cat5e performance is sufficient. The cable uses 4 pairs with 26 AWG conductors and a PVC sheath for flexibility.
The cable provides reliable signal transmission for Fast and Gigabit Ethernet thanks to its Cat5e specification and controlled pair geometry. Gold-plated contacts reduce oxidation risk and improve contact reliability. The PVC jacket offers mechanical durability and flexibility for routing in racks or along walls. The unshielded design (UTP) is suitable for typical indoor office and home environments where additional shielding is not required.
Insert one RJ-45 plug into the RJ-45 port of your network device and the other plug into the port of the second device or wall socket. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and avoid running it in parallel with high-voltage power lines to reduce interference. For best performance, keep the cable length within recommended limits for horizontal runs.
Use this Cat5e UTP cable for standard indoor network installations and patching where Cat5e performance meets bandwidth needs. For environments with significant electromagnetic interference or where future higher-than‑Gigabit speeds are required, consider shielded cabling or higher category (Cat6/Cat6a) solutions.
