Copper Patch Cable TECHLY Cat.6 S/FTP LSZH, RJ-45–RJ-45, 15 m, Grey
TECHLY Cat.6 copper patch cable, 15 m long, with S/FTP (S-STP) shielding and an LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) jacket. The cable is terminated on both ends with gold-plated RJ-45 male connectors and is designed to support Gigabit Ethernet and structured cabling applications where enhanced protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and low-smoke materials are required in offices, server rooms and data centers.
The S/FTP construction features pair-wise foil shielding plus an overall braided shield, providing improved immunity to crosstalk and external interference compared with unshielded cables. The LSZH outer sheath reduces the emission of smoke and hazardous halogens in case of fire, making the cable suitable for installations with tighter safety requirements. Gold-plated contacts ensure reliable signal transfer and corrosion resistance, while the slim-line design facilitates routing and termination in dense patch panels and racks.
Connect each RJ-45 plug to the corresponding RJ-45 ports on network equipment such as switches, routers or patch panels. The cable is plug-and-play and does not require configuration. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; maintain bend radii recommended for Ethernet cabling to preserve electrical performance. For permanent installations, secure the cable with appropriate cable management accessories and avoid proximity to strong sources of electromagnetic noise when possible.
For optimal performance, use this Cat.6 S/FTP cable within structured cabling channel lengths recommended for Gigabit Ethernet. Avoid kinking or tightly coiling the cable, and ensure connectors are fully inserted into RJ-45 jacks. In installations with strict fire-safety requirements choose LSZH cabling for reduced smoke and toxic emission risks.
