Fiber optic patch cable TECHLY SC to LC Multimode OM4 50/125, 3 m, duplex
Fiber optic patch cable TECHLY SC to LC Multimode OM4 50/125, 3 m, duplex
TECHLY fiber optic patch cable SC to LC Multimode OM4 50/125, 3 m, duplex is a multimode duplex cable designed for short-range, high-bandwidth links in data centres, LANs and telecom environments. The cable uses OM4 grade 50/125 µm multimode fiber and terminated with an SC connector on one end and an LC connector on the other, providing full-duplex connectivity for patching, uplinks and device interconnections where OM4 performance is required.
This OM4 multimode cable supports elevated bandwidth and extended reach compared with lower multimode grades, enabling transmission of 10 Gigabit Ethernet to longer distances and supporting 40/100 Gigabit Ethernet within the OM4 range. The duplex configuration and standard SC-to-LC terminations make it compatible with common equipment and patch panels. The jacket and connector types are suitable for structured cabling in network racks and telecommunication cabinets.
Inspect connectors and fiber ends before installation to ensure they are clean and free of dust or damage. Route the 3 m duplex cable along the intended path, avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension; maintain minimum bend radius as recommended for multimode fiber. Insert the SC connector into the SC receptacle and the LC connector into the LC receptacle, ensuring secure seating and correct orientation. Use appropriate cable management and strain relief in racks or panels to prevent connector stress and preserve performance.
Clean connectors with appropriate fiber cleaning tools before mating, avoid tight bends and kinks, and store spare connectors with protective caps. Verify link performance after installation using suitable optical test equipment when deploying for critical 10/40/100 Gbit/s applications.
