TECHLY InfiniBand SC to SC/APC 1 m, 9 µm core single‑mode fibre optic cable is designed for low‑loss optical links in data centres, network racks and high‑speed interconnects. The cable features a 9/125 µm single‑mode core and SC to SC/APC connector terminations, providing a compact, single‑fibre simplex solution for InfiniBand and single‑mode fibre applications. With a 1 metre length and LSZH jacket, it is suitable for short patching runs where controlled bend radius and low emissions are required.
The cable provides single‑mode transmission with a 9 µm core optimized for long‑reach and high‑bandwidth links. SC/APC polish on one end reduces back reflection for improved optical performance in sensitive links. The LSZH sheath lowers smoke and halogen emissions in enclosed spaces, and the 3 mm diameter construction keeps the cable flexible for rack and patchpanel installations. Simplex design with SC connectors at both ends ensures compatibility with equipment requiring SC and SC/APC terminations.
Remove protective caps from the SC and SC/APC connectors and insert each connector into the corresponding SC adapter or transceiver port until it clicks or seats. Ensure connectors are clean before mating to avoid increased insertion loss; use appropriate fibre cleaning tools if necessary. Route the cable respecting the specified bend radii to maintain optical performance and avoid sharp bends. For rack installations, secure the cable with cable ties or organisers that do not compress the jacket.
Use dust caps when connectors are not in use and clean connectors before connection. Avoid bending the cable beyond the recommended radii, and keep the LSZH jacket dry and free from contaminants. For critical links, test insertion loss and return loss after installation to confirm link performance.
