InfiniBand / fibre optic cable TECHLY 1 m LC–SC 9 µm yellow
Techly InfiniBand / fibre optic cable, 1 m LC–SC 9 µm in yellow, is a single-mode patch cable designed for reliable optical connections between network devices, switches and transceivers. One end features an LC‑UPC male connector and the other an SC‑APC male connector, supporting high-speed links and FTTH/FTTx installations. The cable uses OS2 single‑mode fiber with a 9/125 µm core, an LSZH halogen‑free sheath and an optimized bend radius for space‑saving installation without increased attenuation.
This 1 m LC–SC single‑mode cable provides low insertion loss and measured return loss values backed by an individual test protocol. The combination of LC‑UPC and SC‑APC connectors ensures compatibility with a wide range of transceivers and ONT devices. The LSZH jacket minimizes smoke and hazardous gases in case of fire and the optimized bending characteristics (minimum static bend radius of 30 mm) allow routing in confined spaces while maintaining signal integrity.
Connect the LC‑UPC male end to the LC port on the device or transceiver and the SC‑APC male end to the corresponding SC‑APC port on the ONT, switch or patch panel. Ensure connectors are clean and free from dust before mating; use appropriate dust caps when the cable is not in use. Route the cable respecting the minimum bend radius and avoid sharp bends, kinks or mechanical stress. Tighten any connector latches or housing locks to secure the connection.
For best optical performance, clean connectors with suitable fibre cleaning tools before connection, avoid repeated mating cycles beyond recommended limits, and follow site cabling standards for strain relief and routing. Verify insertion loss and return loss when integrating into critical links or high‑speed networks.
