Fibre optic cable TECHLY InfiniBand LC to SC 1 m, 9 µm core, yellow
TECHLY InfiniBand LC to SC fibre optic cable, 1 m long with a 9 µm single‑mode core in a yellow LSZH jacket, is designed for reliable high‑speed interconnects in server racks, network equipment and storage systems. The cable combines an LC connector on one end and an SC connector on the other to provide a compact simplex link suitable for short rack‑to‑rack or device connections. The single‑mode construction and optimized bend radius support low attenuation and high data rates in constrained installations.
This cable provides single‑mode performance with a 9/125 µm core optimized for InfiniBand and other high‑speed optical links, while the LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) sheath reduces hazardous emissions in case of fire. The LC and SC connectors allow compatibility with a wide range of transceivers and patch panels; optimized bending characteristics enable space‑saving routing without significant signal loss. Each unit is factory tested for insertion loss and return loss, ensuring predictable optical performance.
Before installation, verify the connectors required by your devices (LC and SC) and ensure transceivers or adapter panels accept APC/UPC polish types. Route the cable through cable management paths keeping bends above the minimum radius and avoid sharp crimps or excessive tension. Insert the SC (APC) and LC (UPC) connectors into the corresponding ports until they click into place. For best optical performance, keep connector end faces clean and use appropriate cleaning tools prior to mating. After installation, test the link for insertion loss and return loss when required.
Store the cable coiled without sharp bends and avoid repeated flexing at connector boots. Use compatible patch panels or adapters to convert connector types if needed, and follow workplace safety guidelines for LSZH cabling in enclosed or public spaces.
