Patch Panel Telegärtner J02022A0057
The Telegärtner J02022A0057 patch panel is a 19"/10" 1 HU rack-mount unit designed for structured cabling systems. It is available with 12, 16 or 24 RJ45 jacks assembled on a single printed circuit board mounted horizontally. The housing is steel with a powder-coated light grey finish (RAL 7035) and the cover is stainless steel. The panel supports Cat6a and Cat5e cabling and complies with IEC 60603-7-5 / -7-3 standards.
The unit provides IDC (LSA Plus) terminations with colour coding for EIA/TIA 568A and 568B, integrated numbering of modular jacks on the front panel, and enclosed cable ties for strain relief that do not require screws or special tools. Shielded versions allow 360-degree shielding connection directly on the PCB via a large contact spot and screw clamps, minimizing the need to twist the braid and reducing the risk of short-circuits thanks to sufficient spacing between data terminals and screening contact. No special tooling is required to mount the cover.
Mount the patch panel in a standard 19" or 10" rack at the required 1 HU height. Terminate network cables onto the IDC (LSA Plus) terminals following the EIA/TIA 568A or 568B colour code. For shielded variants, connect the cable shield to the PCB contact using the provided screw clamps and the enclosed earth connection cable for grounding. Use the included cable ties to provide strain relief for installed cables; no special tools are required to secure the cover.
Ensure the untwisted length of data pairs does not exceed 13 mm to maintain signal performance. When installing shielded cables, verify the earth connection and maintain adequate clearance between screening contacts and data terminals to avoid short-circuits. Follow standard cable management practices in racks and cabinets to preserve performance and accessibility.
