Patch Panel Telegärtner J02023S0050
The Telegärtner J02023S0050 is a 19"/10" 1 HU rack-mount patch panel engineered for 10 Gigabit Ethernet installations. It is available with 12, 16 or 24 RJ45 jacks assembled on a single printed circuit board and supports Cat6A cabling and Class EA 500 performance. The panel has a steel housing with a stainless-steel cover and comes in black (dimensions: 482.6 mm × 44 mm × 140 mm). Numbered modular jacks on the front simplify identification during installation and maintenance.
The design uses a horizontally mounted PCB and IDC (LSA Plus) terminations with colour coding according to EIA/TIA 568 A and B for reliable and standard-compliant cable connection. Shielded variants provide 360° shielding connection on a large PCB contact spot using screw clamps without requiring braid twisting, and grounding is facilitated via the enclosed earth connection cable. The panel minimizes risk of short-circuits by keeping sufficient distance between data terminals and the screening contact, and allows a maximum untwisted pair length of 13 mm to be respected without complicating installation. Enclosed cable ties provide strain relief without additional screws or special tools, and jacks are front-panel numbered for easy identification.
Mount the patch panel in a standard 19" or 10" rack using the provided mounting points, then terminate incoming Cat6A cables onto the IDC (LSA Plus) terminals following the EIA/TIA 568 A or B colour code. For shielded variants, connect the cable shield to the large PCB contact spot using the screw clamps and attach the enclosed earth connection cable to ground the panel. Use the supplied cable ties for strain relief and route cables to maintain the recommended untwisted length of no more than 13 mm at the termination point. Verify port numbering on the front panel to map connections accurately.
For best performance in 10 Gigabit environments, use Cat6A cables with proper overbending protection, ensure shield continuity and proper grounding for shielded installations, and keep untwisted pair lengths at termination under 13 mm. Follow EIA/TIA 568 wiring standards for consistent network reliability.
