Antenna Televes 4GNOVA SMA 7 dBi
The Televes 4GNOVA SMA 7 dBi antenna is a compact directional antenna designed for frequencies from 1.7 to 2.7 GHz. With a stated gain of 7 dBi, 50 Ω impedance and an SMA connector, it is intended to improve signal reception for wireless equipment operating in the specified band. The antenna is supplied with a coaxial cable and is housed in a white enclosure with overall dimensions of 420 mm x 75 mm x 315 mm. Rated to IP53, the unit provides protection against limited dust ingress and water spray, and is specified to resist wind speeds up to 150 km/h.
The antenna’s 7 dBi gain helps concentrate signal reception to improve link quality while remaining compact enough for wall or pole mounting. The SMA connector supports common radio and Wi‑Fi equipment with 50 Ω interfaces and the included coaxial cable simplifies installation. IP53 protection and the wind resistance rating make the antenna suitable for outdoor placement where moderate environmental exposure is expected. The white housing and moderate weight support discreet installation without heavy mounting structures.
Mount the Televes 4GNOVA SMA antenna on a suitable wall or pole using appropriate brackets and fasteners (not included). Connect the supplied coaxial cable to the SMA connector on the antenna and to the 50 Ω input of your radio or router, ensuring tight and secure connections. Point the antenna toward the desired signal source or along the anticipated propagation path to maximize reception. After installation, check signal strength and adjust the antenna orientation incrementally to obtain the best link performance.
For optimal performance, install the antenna at a clear line-of-sight location and avoid obstructions between the antenna and the signal source. Use weatherproof connectors and seal exposed cable joints to protect against moisture. If installing in very exposed or high-wind sites, verify mounting hardware and consider additional reinforcement despite the antenna’s 150 km/h wind rating.
