Teltonika TSW010 DIN Rain Switch 5 x Fast Ethernet 10/100 Power over Ethernet PoE Black
The Teltonika TSW010 DIN Rain Switch is a compact unmanaged Ethernet switch with five Fast Ethernet (10/100) RJ‑45 ports and Power over Ethernet (PoE) support. Designed for installation on DIN rails, the switch provides a simple plug‑and‑play way to connect multiple devices in industrial, commercial or outdoor networking environments. The device supports standard IEEE Ethernet protocols and offers a MAC address table of 2000 entries with a total switching capacity of 1 Gbit/s to ensure stable frame forwarding for M2M and sensor networks.
The TSW010 combines a small footprint and rugged black aluminium housing with an integrated DIN rail bracket for straightforward mounting without additional hardware. Its support for PoE simplifies power and data delivery over a single cable, reducing installation complexity. Compliance with IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3u and IEEE 802.3az ensures interoperability with common Ethernet equipment and energy‑efficient operation where supported. The switch is optimized for reliable connectivity in constrained network setups where five Fast Ethernet ports and deterministic forwarding are sufficient.
Mount the TSW010 on a standard DIN rail using the integrated bracket and secure the device in the installation enclosure. Connect Ethernet cables from field devices or other switches to the RJ‑45 ports. If powering PoE devices, ensure the connected port and power source provide the required PoE power budget and use appropriate Cat5e or higher cables. Connect the switch power input according to the installation manual and local electrical regulations. Once powered, the unmanaged switch requires no additional configuration and will forward frames between connected devices based on MAC address learning.
Place the switch in a ventilated enclosure and avoid direct exposure to water or corrosive substances. Use shielded cables and proper grounding in electrically noisy environments. For deployments with PoE devices, verify the total power consumption of attached devices does not exceed the available PoE power budget. Regularly inspect mounting and cable connections as part of preventative maintenance.
