THI Kalkomania artystyczna 362 is a decorative transfer decal sheet sized 15.5×23 cm that allows precise application of printed motifs to a variety of surfaces. Produced for hobbyists and restorers, the sheet can be used as a water-slide or rub-on (kalkomania) transfer to transfer fine artwork and patterns onto ceramics, glass, wood, plastic or already finished furniture surfaces. The thin carrier film ensures accurate placement and detail retention while remaining suitable for small-scale craft and model-making tasks.
The transfer decal sheet provides high-resolution printed motifs on a thin, flexible carrier that conforms to flat and gently curved surfaces. It supports both water-slide and rub-on application methods, offering flexibility depending on the working technique and surface type. The product enables precise alignment and minimal visible edge after sealing, making it practical for restoration projects and surface personalization where detail and discreet finishes are required.
For water-slide application, cut the desired motif from the sheet, soak the cut piece in water briefly until the decal releases from its backing, then position it onto the clean dry surface and slide into final position before removing excess water. For rub-on use, align the motif on the target area and rub firmly with a burnishing tool or blunt instrument to transfer the design, then remove the backing film. After transfer, gently dry and press the edges to ensure adhesion. Allow the applied decal to fully dry before applying any protective finish or sealant compatible with the surface material.
Ensure the surface is clean and free of dust, oils and loose coatings. Test the chosen application method on a sample material to confirm adhesion and visual result. After transfer, protect the decal with an appropriate clear varnish or sealer compatible with the substrate to increase durability and resistance to wear.
