Water pump TOYA Sthor 79783, submersible, 600 W, 230 V, IPX8, 10 m cable
TOYA Sthor 79783 submersible water pump is a compact electric pump rated at 600 W and designed for operation on 230 V, 50 Hz mains. Built for continuous or periodic water transfer and drainage, the pump is suitable for use submerged thanks to IPX8 ingress protection. Weighing approximately 3.4 kg and fitted with a 10 m power cable, it is intended for tasks such as garden irrigation, basement or cellar drainage, and removal of water from construction sites or puddles.
The pump offers underwater operation certified by IPX8 protection and a robust 600 W motor that provides reliable water transfer rates for domestic and light-construction use. Its compact design and moderate weight make it easy to position and move, while the long 10 m power cable increases placement flexibility without additional wiring. The electric motor and sealed housing are engineered for continuous or intermittent use in flooded environments.
Before use, check the pump for visible damage and ensure the power cable and plug are intact. Lower the pump into the water so that the motor housing is fully submerged, observing minimum immersion depth if specified in the manufacturer manual. Connect the power plug to a properly rated and grounded 230 V outlet with RCD protection where possible. Position the discharge hose or pipe to direct water to the desired location and start the pump. Monitor operation periodically and do not run the pump dry; if intermittently used, allow the motor to cool according to the duty recommendations in the manual.
Use the pump with mostly clean water and avoid large solid debris that can obstruct the impeller. For electrical safety, always use a residual-current device (RCD) and avoid connecting the pump to an overloaded circuit. Store the pump in a dry place when not in use and follow the manufacturer's maintenance schedule to ensure long service life.
