TP-Link 10G BASE-T RJ45 SFP+ Module 10Gbit/s Copper RJ-45
TP-Link 10G BASE-T RJ45 SFP+ Module 10Gbit/s Copper RJ-45
TP-Link 10G BASE-T RJ45 SFP+ Module (10Gbit/s Copper RJ-45) is a hot-pluggable SFP+ transceiver designed to bridge SFP+ ports and RJ-45 copper links at multi-gigabit speeds. The module supports standards from 10GBASE-T down to 100BASE-TX and provides up to 10 Gbit/s throughput, with reliable operation in commercial environments. Its full-metal enclosure reduces electromagnetic interference and improves mechanical durability while the plug-and-play design simplifies deployment without additional configuration.
The module delivers high performance for short-distance copper connections, supporting multi-rate operation (10G/5G/2.5G/1G/100M) and Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM) for temperature and voltage. A rugged metal housing offers low EMI and prolonged service life. Hot-pluggable SFP+ compatibility and a 3.3 V input make the module straightforward to integrate into existing network equipment that accepts SFP+ form-factor modules.
Insert the SFP+ module into a compatible SFP+ slot on your switch, router or server until it locks. Connect a Cat6a (or better) UTP copper cable between the module’s RJ-45 port and the remote device. The device should auto-negotiate supported link speeds; verify link status using your network equipment management interface. For safety, follow standard ESD precautions when handling the module and avoid inserting or removing the module under heavy mechanical stress.
For reliable 10 Gbit/s performance, use Cat6a or higher-quality cabling and keep copper run lengths within the specified 30 m range. Use the DDM information via the host device to monitor temperature and voltage. When hot-swapping, confirm that the host device supports SFP+ copper modules to ensure compatibility and avoid unexpected link behavior.
