The MC200CM media converter converts 1000BASE-SX fiber to 1000BASE-T copper or vice versa, supporting IEEE 802.3ab (1000Base-T) and IEEE 802.3z (1000Base-SX) standards. It is designed for multimode fiber with an SC connector and operates with an 850 nm shortwave (SX) laser at full wire-speed forwarding. The converter can be used as a standalone unit or installed in a compatible 19" system chassis and includes front-panel status LEDs.
