Network Switch TP-Link 24-Port 10/100Mbps TL-SF1024M
Network Switch TP-Link 24-Port 10/100Mbps TL-SF1024M
The TP-Link 24-Port 10/100Mbps TL-SF1024M is an unmanaged desktop Fast Ethernet switch with 24 RJ45 ports that support auto MDI/MDIX and auto-negotiation. Designed for SOHO and small workgroups, it provides full wire-speed forwarding with a switching capacity of 4.8 Gbit/s and a MAC address table suitable for typical small networks, while offering energy-efficient operation that reduces power consumption.
The TL-SF1024M requires no configuration and is plug-and-play, simplifying network expansion. All 24 ports support Auto MDI/MDIX, eliminating the need for crossover cables. Non-blocking switching architecture and IEEE 802.3x flow control ensure reliable packet forwarding at full wire speed. Built-in energy-efficient technology adjusts power use based on link status and cable length, lowering power consumption and meeting RoHS environmental requirements.
Place the TL-SF1024M on a flat surface or mount it where ventilation is adequate. Connect the switch to power and link your devices using standard Cat5e/Cat6 Ethernet cables; ports automatically detect speed (10/100 Mbps) and MDI/MDIX, so no manual configuration is required. For full-duplex operation, ensure connected devices support full duplex to take advantage of IEEE 802.3x flow control. Monitor link LEDs to verify connections and activity.
For optimal performance, use quality shielded or unshielded Cat5e or Cat6 cables and avoid running cables near large electrical equipment. Place the switch in a well-ventilated location and allow space around vents. This unmanaged switch is intended for basic network expansion and is not suitable for advanced routing, VLANs, or managed network features.
