Unmanaged Switch TP-Link TL-SG1210P 10-Port Gigabit with 8-Port PoE+
10-Port Gigabit Desktop Switch with 8-Port PoE+ (Model TL-SG1210P) provides Gigabit Ethernet connectivity with integrated Power over Ethernet on ports 1–8. The switch supports IEEE 802.3af/at powered devices, offers a compact metal desktop or wall-mount design, and operates silently thanks to a fanless construction. It is suitable for connecting IP cameras, IP phones, and wireless access points for networked surveillance, voice and Wi‑Fi coverage.
The TL-SG1210P delivers both data and power over a single Ethernet cable to compatible devices, reducing cabling complexity and installation cost. Intelligent power management prioritizes port power when total consumption approaches the 63W budget, protecting devices from overload. The sturdy metal casing allows flexible placement on a desk or mounted to a wall, while the fanless design ensures quiet operation in office or home environments.
Place the switch on a flat surface or mount it on a wall using the included mounting points. Connect the switch to your router or upstream network device using one of the non-PoE Gigabit uplink ports. Plug compatible IEEE 802.3af/at devices such as IP cameras, IP phones, or Omada EAP access points into ports 1–8 to provide both power and data over a single Ethernet cable. Monitor connected devices and redistribute power if necessary; the switch will automatically manage PoE allocation and cut lower-priority port power when the 63W budget is exceeded.
For optimal performance, prioritize mission-critical devices on higher-priority ports and ensure the total connected PoE load does not consistently exceed the 63W budget. Use Cat5e or better Ethernet cables and place the switch in a well-ventilated area to maintain stable operation.
