Powerline Adapter TP-Link AV1000 Gigabit Wi-Fi Kit
Powerline Adapter TP-Link AV1000 Gigabit Wi-Fi Kit
TL-WPA7517 KIT converts your home’s existing electrical wiring into a Gigabit wired and AC750 wireless network, extending network access to any room with a power outlet. The AV1000 powerline technology delivers up to 1000 Mbps over electrical cabling with a transmission range up to 300 meters and supports simultaneous dual-band Wi‑Fi (300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 433 Mbps on 5 GHz). The kit includes one powerline extender with a Gigabit Ethernet port and two Ethernet cables; it is compatible with tpPLC mobile and PC utilities for management.
No drilling or new cabling is required — the kit uses the existing electrical circuit to carry both wired and wireless network signals through walls and floors. HomePlug AV2-based AV1000 throughput provides stable, high-speed data transmission for streaming, gaming and large downloads. One-touch Wi‑Fi configuration copies your router’s SSID and password for fast setup. A Gigabit Ethernet port supports bandwidth-intensive devices and additional devices can be connected via a switch. The device includes LED indicators and supports remote management via the tpPLC app or utility.
Plug one powerline adapter into a wall outlet and connect it to your router using an Ethernet cable. Plug the TL‑WPA7517 unit into an outlet in the room where you need network access; the devices must be on the same electrical circuit. Use the One‑Touch Wi‑Fi button on the extender to copy the router’s network name and password to the extender for a unified network. Connect wired devices to the Gigabit Ethernet port or use the wireless SSID created by the kit. Optionally install the tpPLC app or PC utility to view real‑time powerline speed, control LEDs and manage the network settings.
For best performance, connect both powerline adapters directly to wall outlets (avoid using power strips or surge protectors), keep adapters on the same electrical circuit, and place the extender in a central location for the target room. If interference is suspected, try alternative outlets or add another powerline unit to improve coverage.
