Unmanaged Switch TP-Link TL-SG105 L2 Gigabit Ethernet 5 Ports
The TP-Link TL-SG105 is an unmanaged 5-port Gigabit Ethernet desktop switch that provides a simple way to add high-speed wired connectivity to small networks. With five 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ-45 ports, a switching capacity of 10 Gbit/s and a MAC address table supporting 2048 entries, the TL-SG105 is designed for reliable, plug-and-play expansion of home or office networks while remaining compact and fanless.
This unmanaged switch requires no configuration and supports auto MDI/MDIX and auto-negotiation on each port for effortless installation. It delivers full Gigabit performance on all five ports for fast file transfers and backbone connections. Energy-efficient technology reduces power consumption by adjusting to link status and cable length, and the fanless design ensures quiet operation.
Place the TL-SG105 on a stable surface near your router, modem or existing switch. Connect Ethernet cables from your devices (PCs, NAS, printers, access points) to any of the five RJ-45 ports. Connect one port to your upstream router or switch if you require internet access. The device is plug-and-play: it will automatically detect link speed and MDI/MDIX, so no configuration is necessary.
For optimal performance, use quality Cat5e or Cat6 cables for Gigabit connections and place the switch in a well-ventilated area to avoid heat accumulation despite the fanless design. Avoid exposing the unit to moisture or extreme temperatures.
