Mount the patch panel to a flat surface using the included 89D bracket in either vertical or horizontal orientation. Terminate Cat6 cables to the punch-down blocks following T568A or T568B wiring standards and use appropriate punch-down tools (TRENDnet TC-PDT recommended). Route cables through the removable pass-through holders and secure them with the supplied cable ties. Label each port on the writable area above the connectors to document your network layout.

Usage recommendations

For reliable performance, use certified Cat6 cables and appropriate punch-down and crimp tools. Maintain separation from electrical interference sources and avoid exceeding specified cable run lengths: 100 m for up to 5 Gbps and 55 m for 10 Gbps connections.
