The panel provides a compact and durable solution for organizing and terminating Ethernet runs in server racks and communication cabinets while supporting gigabit and 10G copper Ethernet applications.

Advantages

The shielded Cat6A design reduces electromagnetic interference (EMI) and crosstalk to help maintain data integrity and stable connections. This 19" 1U metal housing is 10G-ready and compatible with Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6A cabling. Color-coded labels support both T568A and T568B wiring schemes, and the panel uses 110 IDC type terminal blocks for reliable terminations. Standards compliance includes ANSI/EIA/TIA 568-B.2-1 and ISO/IEC 11801; rack compatibility follows ANSI/EIA/TIA 310-D and EN50173-1.

Mount the patch panel in a 19" rack occupying 1U of space. Terminate each Ethernet cable onto the 110 IDC terminal blocks using an appropriate 110 or Krone type punch-down tool; TRENDnet's TC-PDT punch down tool is compatible and sold separately. Use the color-coded labels to follow either T568A or T568B wiring schemes for consistent terminations. Close the integrated cable management cover plate to separate and secure cables and reduce clutter.

Usage recommendations
