Description

The TRENDnet TI-BE200 is an industrial outdoor Gigabit PoE++ extender that takes a single PoE++ input and extends network power and data an additional 100 meters (328 ft.) to two PoE+ devices. Housed in an IP67-rated metal enclosure and operating from -40° to 75° C, the unit supports auto-detection of PoE (15.4W), PoE+ (30W) and PoE++ (60W) connections and can be daisychained with up to three additional extenders for longer runs.

How to use

Connect a PoE++ source to the Gigabit PoE++ input port on the TI-BE200. Attach up to two downstream PoE+ devices to the output ports using shielded or outdoor-rated Ethernet cable and deploy the unit in its intended outdoor location, mounting it as required. The unit will auto-detect the PoE class and supply appropriate power to connected devices. To extend farther, connect additional TI-BE200 extenders in series, observing the maximum total extension limits.

Usage recommendations

Install using outdoor-rated Cat5e/Cat6 cables and ensure proper sealing of cable entries. Verify the PoE source capacity (90W PoE++ input) and the power requirements of downstream devices. When daisychaining, confirm cumulative distance and power budget to remain within the specified limits.
